McCall delivered the full dream package: deep snow, stacked talent, and a house full of friends. The William & Helde crew had me come up to document snowcat & resoer laps at Brundage, late nights at the Beer Lodge, and feasts with Snake River Farms.

But the adventure extended when 10 Barrel asked me to stay an extra day. Their athlete ambassadors Eric Jackson, Ben Ferguson, Curtis Ciszek, Carson Storch, Lucas Wach,and Chris Logan rallied for a full backcountry strike. One day, bottomless conditions, and a hit list the riders had already scouted.
