10 Barrel Brewing’s Beer Lodge in McCall, Idaho delivered the full dream package: deep snow, lots of riding terrain, and a house full of friends. The William & Helde crew had me come up to document snowcat & resort laps at Brundage, late nights at the 10 Barrel Beer Lodge, and feasts with Snake River Farms for a handful of invited media.
The adventure extended when 10 Barrel asked me to stay an extra day. Their athlete ambassadors Eric Jackson, Ben Ferguson, Curtis Ciszek, Carson Storch, Lucas Wach, and Chris Logan were set to head out in the backcountry. One day, bottomless conditions, and a hit list the riders had already scouted. We moved feature by feature, stacking images that powered 10B’s campaign library capped with a powder slash of Ben Ferguson on the cover of Snowboard International. The kind of day you don’t forget.
